Work place drama?

Work place drama?

Everyone with a full-time job or everyone who has ever had a full-time job will understand the facts I will briefly state:

1)We spend 40 + hours a week at our workplace
2)We spend more time with our co-workers than our family

For some unknown reason every company, every organization seems to have a hand full of asshole that want to live their 40+ hours a week by making everyone else uncomfortable at work.

If you can not relate to the above sentence – then you are more than likely the “asshole” - And if you are the “asshole” please continue to read.
If you can relate to the above sentence. You to - should continue to read – this post may make you laugh or at the very least I hope it makes you smile.

I want to know who hires the assholes. What happens in the interview process that the hiring manager can not see the glow the assholes give off? Or maybe – it’s the existing assholes that hire more assholes. Whatever the case may be. We all need to get together and destroy the personality of the assholes.

Ways to figure out if you’re the “asshole”

•If more than one person walks pass you without a slight grin?
You’re the asshole.

•If you never get invited to after work drinks/Appys?
You’re the asshole.
(If you are not a big drinker, or have a family that takes all your time. The above does not relate to you.)

•If you walk into a room and everyone stops talking & barely makes eye contact with you.
You’re the asshole.

•If you’re a manager/supervisor & your team doesn’t speak to you about their personal life, ever.
You’re the asshole.

•If you hardly hear the question: “How are you doing?”
You’re the asshole.

---and lastly

•If you haven’t been in a relationship for many, many years & you’re over 40.
You’re the asshole.

I can spend 40+ hours creating more of these but lets continue onto other things.

(If you have more to add feel free … maybe we’ll create our own “You’re the asshole”)

My point to this post is – Why can’t everyone just get a long? You spend more than half of your life at your workplace. Why must the assholes treat it like high school? There is no need for this. The assholes make the good people look for other jobs. Good people/ good workers do not stay with companies that continually have social drama. If there are more than a few assholes in one company good people WILL leave. It is a guarantee!

What makes assholes – assholes? Where you born an asshole? Did things happen in your life that made you an asshole?
I myself didn’t have the best life as a child. And I admit I am an asshole with certain things.. Everyone can be an asshole in their own right. Everyone has a right to a shitty day – to a shitty week and even to a shitty month. But, going out of your way to lie on your co-workers.. to go out of your way to add drama to a simple comment … to go out of your way to be-little someone… to go out of your way to make fun of people… it’s uncalled for! Someone in the organization/company needs to come forward and stop the assholes in your workplace. If it is your boss that is the asshole. Go to their boss and confide in them. If they to are an asshole – go to their boss. Somewhere a long the line you will find someone that is able to stop the social drama. If the whole workplace is full of assholes. FIND another job.

Note - you should not be fired if you confide in someone about the social drama. If you do get fired for confiding in someone then you should be able to sue them. So, either way you win! Being mistreated at your workplace is not legal. If you are made to feel uncomfortable by the same person/persons you ARE being mistreated. And you need to stand up for yourself. 9 times out of 10 if the asshole gets spoken to they either change or they themselves quit. Again, you have nothing to lose. The asshole/assholes need to be stopped.

Come together as a team and stop your asshole!

lol
